Pues me gusto que haya ganado ella, aunque la verdad fue mucho mas sorpresivo que Mireia, puesto que solo fue top en Talento, de resto no figuro en nada, posiblemente tuvo una muy buena entrevista.

Si me parecio raro que la Misma Winelia le formulara la pregunta, pero vamos los asiaticos nos hacen tramoyas muchos mas feas a las nuestras ya era hora de que chuparan un poquito de lo mismo.

En cuanto a la Croce, estoy feliz con su participación con ella se consolida que la vieja no quiere ningún trato con la OMV porque desde feas con porte, hasta bellezas clásicas, desde segundonas y hasta titulares y la vieja nada...

Telemundo transmite el MW desde hace años, de hecho aparece en la lista de canales del año pasado. 

Y la Wilnelia es otra Lupita, si quería algo en el Miss Mundo es precisamente que Puerto Rico no ganara para poder seguir siendo la única MW boricua.

COMENTO UN FORISTA DE MISSOSOLOGY FILIPINO PRESNTE ALLI 

* The production is like a fusion of Miss Supranational and Miss Universe, especially the opening number. What an upgrade! Though I find the entire stage a bit dark, I'm amazed how Miss World production transformed so much this year from Introduction to the other parts of the program, especially the fact that the pageant is being held in the USA. I would love to see the US hosting more editions of Miss World in the future. Who knows we might see LAS VEGAS hosting Miss World soon. 

* I'm happy that most of my predicted finalists actually placed into the Top 20 and above especially Brazil, Korea, Puerto Rico, etc. I thought they will go unplaced because we don't have much update on them regarding their Fast Track performances. Special mention to Korea. I actually rooted for her to reach Top 5 afterall. She's the best Miss World Korea so far. I hope they'll send someone or better than her next year. Hoping to see a Korean Big 4 pageant winner very soon

* Belgium is a pleasant surprise! Japan, I somehow expected her to place because of her unique Indian roots. I believe that was Japan's first ever placement in Miss World? And I'm glad she performed well.

* The biggest shock for me (and very disheartening) was Venezuela's unplacement. 5 years is too much for Osmel! It's very painful!!! Now, I'm not going to be surprised if Osmel will finally give up the Miss World franchise. If he still want the Miss World franchise, honestly, he should crown the Miss Mundo Venezuela very early.

* Taking away the leaderboard gave less transparency to the pageant BUT added another thrill in the announcement of the Top 20, just like Miss Universe and other pageants. 

* Before having a comment about my girl Catriona (always my Miss World 2016), setting aside that trash girl from San Juan, I would like to say that Miss Puerto Rico, Stephanie del Valle DESERVED to win Miss World 2016, setting aside the rigging issues, the national director being the judge or anything else. I knew it when she was crowned Miss Mundo Puerto Rico, I already saw her as a potential Miss World winner. Seeing her performance last night actually made me feel nervous with the results. As I said, she is the best Puerto Rican representative of any pageant since their Miss World girl in 2011. Even better than Zuleyka. Perhaps Stephanie is the most deserving Puerto Rican to win a Big 4 pageant since Dayanara Torres. It's just sad to see that she won with having her national director (and a former Miss World) and Indonesia's national director as judges. Honestly, without them, I can still see her win but this is controversial, I can tell you. 

* Among the Top 3, I have to be very honest. I knew it that Dominican Republic might place as a runner-up just like Micaela Reis or Tatum Keshwar. If she was the winner instead of Stephanie, it is going to be sensational crowning moment. To be honest also with you, Indonesia placed way too high. Top 5 for her is enough already. Yes she has a good BWAP but let's face it. When it comes to how a girl answered her question and the stage presence, either Kenya or Philippines deserved her place. Now I know that it is because of her National Director favoring her so much and aside from that, they'll host Miss World 2017. IF ONLY Maria Harfanti was the one competing this year, maybe I'll place Indonesia as the winner this year, but no.

* Perhaps the most heartbreaking for me is that Catriona didn't even place in the Top 3 (if not winning the crown). I felt weak after the crowning moment but I have to accept it. She only placed in the Top 5, too close to the crown. She is the most prepared girl from the Philippines this year and the best Miss World Philippines since Megan. Her answer was also the best and I can't believe that they ignored her to the winner's circle. BUT, I have a second thought in my mind. She was styled almost exact as Megan when she competed. And I really think Julia doesn't want to see a similar style and aura from a former winner to the future contestants of the same country. She wants a girl who has a different sense of style. And that's the similar thing happened to Venezuela's Diana Croce, who was style almost identical to Jacqueline Aguilera. NO, I'm not blaming Catriona, Francis Libiran or Aces and Queens. But I think my theory about her is correct.

* I know this is too early to say but I think Miss World Philippines 2017 will have the biggest pressure ever among our Filipina delegates. The biggest shoes to fill from Cat. To be honest, the pressure will be much bigger than with Pia and Maxine in Miss Universe. Catriona is already the most complete delegate we ever sent in Miss World and yet, she didn't win. I really hope we'll find already who will be the next Miss World Philippines and perhaps the 2nd Miss World from our country. With that, we might see a repeat of history. Miss World 2017 'might' be held in Indonesia and it will be delightful to see another Filipina being crowned in Indonesia as Miss World. *fingers crossed*


So that's it. I would like to congratulate Stephanie del Valle, the eventual Miss World 2016 for a job well done and shoutout to my girl, my forever Miss World 2016, Catriona Gray!
