CANNES 2013: WHO IS XIMENA NAVARRETE?

Me encanta, la reina desde antes de su aparición ya generando expectativa En la nota se expresan SUPER bien de ella. Que éxito con Xime!

 

L'Oreal Paris brand ambassador Ximena Navarrete will be back on the red carpet at Cannes International Film Festival this evening for the Only Lovers Left Alive premiere along with her fellow L'Oreal pals Bianca Balti and Cansu Dere.

Universally gorgeous

Ximena, who was crowned Miss Universe 2010, is becoming a bit of a regular at Cannes after being invited as a special guest for the past few years and every year her outfits seem to get more spectacular.

In 2011 she rocked a daring black number and a chic chignon and in 2012 she dazzled onlookers in her sparkling princess style ensemble complete with romantic updo.

The brunette beauty is an actress and model from Mexico. She rose to fame in 2009 after winning a series of beauty pageants in her homeland. By the following September she had taken the beauty world by storm by being crowned Miss Universe.

She used her new found fame to team up with Children International in a bid to raise awareness of child poverty and help more than 12,000 poor children. Her work took her across the world to countries such as Spain, China, Thailand and Brazil.

What will she wear?

In 2011 she became the newest face of L'Oreal and earlier this year she bagged a role on the Mexican soap opera La tempestad alonside ex-model and actor William Levy. Thankfully she has taken some time off the show to join the other L'Oreal ladies at Cannes.

So will she select a sparkly ensemble, a black number or this year's trend of turquoise frocks? Ximena is remaining tight lipped about her style plans but we do know whatever she wears it will be amazing.
