Miss World continued her tour of India this weekend attending the prestigious 58th Annual Filmfare Awards Ceremony in Mumbai. The Oscars’ of Bollywood, The Filmfare Awards is the biggest event celebrating the year in film in India.

Joining Miss World Chairman Julia Morley, Miss World Yu Wenxia was invited to attend the highly anticipated event, and took to the stage to present an award with Vanya Mishra (India 2012). Together the pair read out the nominations and declared the winner for Best Music Director, which was awarded to Pritam for his work on the film Barfi!.

Barfi! Was a huge success in India, winning five awards on the night, including Best Male Actor and Best Female Debut. Miss World 2000 Priyanka Chopra was nominated for Best Actress for her role in Barfi!, but lost out on the night to Vidya Balan for her appearance in Kahaani.
