ANDY COHEN AND GIULIANA RANCIC TO HOST THE 2012 MISS USA® PAGEANT LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS ON JUNE 3RD

FLO-RIDA, SIA AND CARLY RAE JEPSEN TO PERFORM THEIR HIT SONGS

New York, NY – May 10, 2012 – Paula M. Shugart, President of the Miss Universe Organization announced today that Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic will return as hosts of the 2012 Miss USA® Pageant broadcast live on NBC (9-11 p.m. ET) from the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada on Sunday, June 3rd.

Adds Shugart: “Not only will we have the hottest show on the strip the night of June 3, but we are excited to welcome back Andy Cohen and Giuliana Rancic as hosts. Andy and Giuliana’s charisma and energy are a great fit for us, and it was obvious they had a lot of fun together at Miss USA last year. We are happy to have them back.”

Andy Cohen is the host and executive producer of “Watch What Happens Live (WWHL)," Bravo’s late night, interactive talk show now airing five nights a week and featuring guests from some of Bravo's most popular series, as well as from the world of entertainment, politics and pop culture. For last year’s 2011 Miss USA competition, WWHL aired live immediately after the telecast making it the first time the show did a live remote broadcast outside of New York City. In addition to his hosting duties, he is also the executive vice president of development and talent for Bravo and serves as executive producer for “Top Chef” and “The Real Housewives” franchise.

Giuliana Rancic is a co-anchor of “E! News” and host of E!’s hugely popular “Fashion Police.” She is also the executive producer/star of her hit Style Network reality show, “Giuliana & Bill.” Rancic can also be seen co-hosting “Live From the Red Carpet” specials, including the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards.

Flo-Rida and Sia Furler will perform their hit single "Wild Ones" during the swimsuit competition of the telecast and rising star Carly Rae Jepsen will perform her hit single “Call me Maybe” during the evening gown competition.

Flo-Rida burst onto the scene in 2008 with his blockbuster debut album, "Mail on Sunday." It is the second time he performs for the MUO pageants.

Perth born, Australian Sia Furler has been hailed by critics as one of the most engrossing and seductive listening experiences of 2009. Bursting onto the international music scene in 2000, Sia has earned herself instant global success, Grammy nominations, and has been hailed the latest You-Tube phenomenon. Her collaboration with Flo-Rida follows up her hit single "Titanium" with world-renowned David Guetta.

Carly Rae Jepsen is a Juno-nominated Canadian singer/songwriter from Mission, British Columbia. In the summer of 2007 she placed third in the fifth season of Canadian Idol. She was also a part of the Canadian Idol Top 3 concert tour. "Call Me Maybe" is the first song by a Canadian artist to reach the top of the digital chart since Justin Bieber's "Baby" in January 2010.

Also returning as executive producers of the telecast are dick clark productions (dcp) led by Barry Adelman. Last year marked the first time the telecast incorporated a fan vote revealing the 16th contestant, along with a new technology enabling viewers to play “virtual judges” from their home. This novelty will come back again for this year.

51 contestants from all across the United States will join in Las Vegas to determine who will wear the exalted Miss USA crown in 2012. Alyssa Campanella, Miss USA 2011, will crown her successor at the conclusion of the telecast. During her reign, Campanella has traveled across the country as an advocate for Breast and Ovarian Cancer education and awareness, and the winner of this years competition will go on to do the same.
