YÉSSICA MOUTON ES LA NUEVA MISS BOLIVIA 2011

De entre las mujeres más bellas de Bolivia, solo una pudo alzarse con la corona que la haría merecedora de representar a este país andino en el certamen de Miss Universo. Finalmente el jurado eligió a la guapa cruceña Yéssica Mounton, señorita Litoral, la mujer que promocionaría la belleza boliviana por el mundo. El certamen de Miss Bolivia, que se celebró el día 30 de junio en el Salón Sirionó de la Feria de Exposición de Santa Cruz, fue una gala llena de sorpresas y espectáculos en la que se eligieron a varias representantes para diferentes concursos de belleza además de Miss Universo. Las representantes de Litoral fueron las ganadoras de la noche, ya que además del título de Miss Bolivia que ganó Yéssica Mounton, la Miss Litoral, Yohanna Vaca será la que llevará Bolivia al certamen de Miss Mundo.

Daniela Núñez del Prado, Señorita Santa Cruz, recibió la banda de Miss Internacional

y la paceña Valeria Avendaño fue nombrada Miss Tierra Bolivia.

LOS PREMIOS 

Además de títulos, las bellas ganadoras de la noche se llevaros diferentes regalos según la categoría de su corona: Miss Bolivia Universo, Jessica Mouton ganó un auto Volkswagen, modelo Gol Hach Back 2012, la corona de plata y piedras preciosas, trajes de alta costura y productos de patrocinadores. Todos los regalos de Jessica están valorados en 34.800 dólares. Miss Bolivia Mundo, Johana Vaca recibirá el equivalente a 32.800 dólares y Miss Bolivia Internacional, Daniela Núñez del Prado, ganó en premios, 29.000 dólares.

BOJANA LECIC: MISS SERBIA 2011

Miss Serbia is an annual Serbian beauty pageant responsible for selecting the country's representative to the Miss Universe pageant since 2006. Bojana Lecic is the new Miss Serbia Universe 2012, crowned on the Thursday night at the Sava Center in Belgrade on 7th July 2011. Bojana Lecic will represent Serbia in Miss Universe 2012 beauty pageant.

LINDSAY JAPAL TAKES MISS CAYMAN ISLANDS CROWN

(CNS): Updated -- UCCI student Lindsay Japal, 23, from George Town has been crowned Miss Cayman Islands 2011. Lindsay, who was sponsored by First Insurance Company, was crowned at the Lions Centre on Saturday night by Cristin Alexander, Miss Cayman 2010, after wowing the judges to get the title for Best Smile and the Best In Gown as well as the title. First runner up was Janelle Muttoo, also from George Town, followed by North Side’s Crystal Tomlinson, who came in third. Aside from winning an array of prizes, including a car and a scholarship, Japal will also represent the islands in the Miss World pageant later this year and Miss Universe next year.

SALOME KHOMERIKI THE 1ST RUNNER UP MISS GEORGIA 2011 WILL REPRESENT GEORGIA IN MISS UNIVERSE 2012

The first runner-up was Salome Khomeriki and will represent Georgia in Miss Universe 2012. Salome is 19 year old and stands 1.79m. While Janeta Kerdikoshvili was crowned Miss Georgia 2011 October 1, 2011 at the Batumi Art Center in Batumi. Janeta is 19 year old and stands 1.74m. She will represent Georgia in Miss World 2011 Pageant.

LEE SUNG-HYE CROWNED MISS KOREA

Lee Sung-hye, 23, was crowned Miss Korea 2011 on Wednesday evening at a beauty pageant held at the Sejong Center for the Performing Arts in Seoul.

Lee, a graduate of the Parsons the New School for Design in New York, held off 53 other contestants to claim the title. She boasts measurements of 35-25-35 and is 170 cm tall.

"I will do my best over the next year to promote the beauty and status of Korea," Lee, who aspires to one day run a fashion business, said after being named the winner.
