I’m Abigail, a 27 year old country girl from County Fermanagh. I began acting professionally at 17 years old and have since starred in TV shows on BBC, RTE and The Lyric Theatre in Belfast. As a Grade 8 Speech and Drama honouree and armed with a TV & Film Acting Diploma, I am excited to continue to break down barriers as an Irish woman in Acting, heading for Hollywood.

Through my social media channels, I have shared vulnerable and inspiring moments to a now audience of 175,000 across Instagram and TikTok with the mission of showcasing how imperfection should be celebrated and that we women are amazing as we are. It all began with a vulnerable admission from me in an anonymous video stating I was struggling with an ED. This blew up and is now a space I am so proud of. I aim to continue to share my journey inspiring other women, young and old. There isn’t something ‘wrong with you’, you are a ‘Limited Edition’. Imperfection should be celebrated and I am proud to do so.

With a large audience comes a large platform, a platform that I use for the better. Last year i took on a huge challenge of cycling from Havana to Trinidad in Cuba raising over £5000 for charity. I have spearheaded multiple running campaigns including a current one with BOOST drinks after I shared my journey as a novice to a half marathon while championing the message, you don’t have to be great, you just have to start.

My passion for country music and career as a host lead me to creating and hosting ‘The Big Cowgirl Day Out’ bringing all women across Ireland together. This initiative began when I used my social media platforms to create a safe space and community for those fellow country girls who needed likeminded friends. 90% of the girls came alone to the event and have left with lifelong friends!

Being a Miss Universe Ireland 2024 finalist, I aspire to inspire every young girl in Ireland, hoping to ignite a spark for their own journey and future, showing that they are enough just the way they are.

My name is Annie, I'm a 22-year-old from a small town in Galway, living a dynamic life as a full-time model and content creator for beauty and fashion brands.

Outside of my career, I'm deeply passionate about mental health and mindfulness, which help me stay grounded in the fast-paced industry I'm part of.

I have a love for traveling, finding inspiration in new places and cultures, and I’m a huge animal lover, having competed in show jumping competitions from a young age.

I value staying active, enjoying time at the gym, and connecting with friends over coffee, all of which contribute to a balanced and fulfilling life.

I want to dedicate my journey in Miss Universe to raising awareness to sexual violence and supporting survivors.

This cause is deeply important to me, and I’m committed to using my platform to shine a light on the challenges survivors face and to advocate for their healing and empowerment.

I think we can make Ireland safe for woman and our children

Through this journey, I hope to inspire others to speak out, seek help, and contribute to a world where everyone can feel safe and supported.

Hi, I'm Sorcha, and I’m thrilled to be a finalist in this year’s Miss Universe Ireland competition. Originally from Blarney, Co. Cork, I now call Dublin home—a city I’ve come to love for its energy and incredible people.

Growing up in Blarney, I developed a strong sense of community that remains central to who I am, even after moving to Dublin. The city has given me so much, from career opportunities to lifelong friendships, and I’m grateful every day for its unique blend of tradition and modernity.

With a degree in Human Resources, I’m passionate about helping people reach their full potential, both professionally and personally. My HR experience has taught me the importance of empathy, understanding, and bringing out the best in others—values that guide me in everything I do.

Mental health, especially for young people, is a cause close to my heart. I’m proud to support Jigsaw, a charity providing essential mental health services for those aged 12 to 25 across Ireland. In today’s world, young people face immense pressures, making support systems like Jigsaw more vital than ever. I’m committed to raising awareness and breaking down barriers to mental health care.

Outside of work and volunteering, I love spending time with family, friends, and my two wonderful dogs who remind me to enjoy life’s simple pleasures, like walks in the park or runs along the coast.

Being part of Miss Universe Ireland is a tremendous honor. This journey is about more than just representing myself; it’s about celebrating what makes Ireland special—from our close-knit communities to our strong values and kindness.

Thank you for taking the time to get to know me. I’m honored to be part of this year’s competition and excited for the journey ahead!

My name is Natasha, I’m 31 years old, and I come from a small town in Mauritius. From the tropical shores of my homeland to the vibrant streets of Cork, my journey has been nothing short of extraordinary.

In 2014, I moved to Ireland, and over the years, this beautiful country has become my home. I work in the tech industry, where I bring my passion for innovation to life every day. After my time with Apple, I now continue my career in tech, blending my love for technology with a drive to make a difference.

Whether working in tech, hitting the gym, or exploring the world (15 cities and counting this year alone!), I’ve embraced every opportunity that’s come my way.

But what truly holds a special place in my heart is my commitment to being a voice for those who feel different or struggle to belong. As someone who once faced the challenges of integrating into a new culture, I’m passionate about supporting others on their journey. That’s why I work closely with Nasc, a charity dedicated to creating an inclusive and equal Ireland for all refugees and migrants.

I’m beyond proud to represent Ireland on the Miss Universe stage, sharing my story and advocating for diversity, strength, and the power of embracing new beginnings. Together, we can build a world where everyone feels they belong.

Hello, My name is Andrea Charlize Balan and I am 18 years old from Co. Dublin. I just graduated with my leaving cert this year 2024. I am aiming to become an artist and an animator. Art is my form of expressing who I am. Animation comes from the Latin word "animātiō" meaning "a bestowing of life". That is my dream to give life to drawings and inspire people with art pieces that bond and make people happy. I like to travel and sell my digital artwork prints at conventions. I am a cosplayer, I make my costumes and participate in various cosplay competitions, along with making my wigs and I am a makeup artist. My favourite hobbies are playing tennis and hiking. I represented my school as a Dublin finalist in Junk Kouture 2022 as “Woman of Light”, representing women empowerment.

Participating in this year's Miss Universe Ireland has given me the courage to spread my voice and promote mental health and self-love. My goal is for everyone to feel comfortable and proud in their own skin. As Ireland grows I see people from all sides of the world coming together and embracing cultures and ethnicities.

Miss Universe Ireland and people all around the world celebrate diversity by showcasing that every woman is beautiful in her unique way, transcending orthodox beauty standards. This act of art promotes individuality among unity. I believe in encouraging women to embrace and love themselves as they are, giving them outstanding power. This can promote well-being and self-acceptance from their individual skills and efforts.

Hi all I am Ellen a 33-year-old emergency nurse hailing from Larne, Co Antrim! Nursing on the frontline in emergency medicine is highly challenging but doubly rewarding!- I feel it is an honour to be able to care for people at some of the most vulnerable points of their lives.

Beyond my demanding career, I am an avidtraveller, having visited over 28 countries! Combining my passion for exploring different cultures and healthcare has lead me to work with healthcare charities in countries like Uganda and most recently Palestine. I am blessed with being in a position that I can share my skills and knowledge that can make lifesaving changes globally. These experiences have further fueled my desire to make a positive impact on the world.

Outside of work, I like expressing myself through poetry and songwriting; I feel music especially can help us all feel more connected in the world! As well as this, I am an advocate for ending sexual violence. As a rape survivor, I have transformed my pain into a powerful force for change.

I am a passionate advocate against sexual violence, challenging harmful myths and stereotypes surrounding rape. Previously as a charity ambassador I have proudly spoken out on my experiences and been the voice for those that have not been able to be heard on their own.

I am determined to make changes at not only local but international level and to be a part of MUI I am so grateful to take this opportunity to do that!

Hello, I’m Charul, and I am honoured to be a Miss Universe Ireland 2024 delegate.

Born in Ghaziabad, near Delhi, India, and now calling Dublin home, my journey has been one of determination, self-belief, perseverance, and a commitment to giving back. As the first in my family to study abroad, I carry the strength of my Indian roots and the richness of my Irish experiences. Since arriving in Ireland, the support from friends and colleagues has shaped the woman I am today.

In 2015, I made the bold decision to move to Ireland for further studies. As an only child in a new country, it wasn’t easy, but my parents' unwavering support fueled my determination. Their sacrifices inspire me daily, and I carry them in my heart with every step I take.

As the founder of CS Ventures Ltd, a tech consultant, podcast host, and community leader, I believe in the power of unity, diversity, and creating opportunities for others. Through events, meetups, and initiatives like ‘Elevate Her,’ I aim to inspire women to realize their potential.

Volunteering has also been a vital part of my journey. In Ireland, I’ve supported causes like the Irish Red Cross and Limerick Animal Welfare. In India, I founded "Awesome Love NGO" for animal welfare and community support.

My advocacy in cycling earned me recognition in the Irish Times and Independent.ie as a Cycling Ireland Women’s Advocate. I received the Community Champion Award from Black Girls in Tech Ireland and was nominated for the Rising Star Awards by Diversity in Tech Awards 2024.

Earlier in 2024, I was featured in Life Magazine and Independent.ie on International Women’s Day as part of the “Immigrant Women Making New Lives in Ireland” initiative by Kildare Village.

As a Miss Universe delegate, I hope to inspire others with my story. I am living proof that with belief, determination, and the right community, anything is possible. I support the Irish Cancer Society to help advance research, improve patient care, and raise awareness, aiming for a future where fewer people face the challenges of cancer.

“Hey, my name is Sindy and I'm 19 years old. I am so grateful and excited to be a finalist in this year's Miss Universe Ireland.
I am a proud Albanian and I was born in Dublin, Ireland, where I was brought up with a mix of cultures.
I am currently in college, and I study law and psychology, and it is my biggest dream to become a criminal lawyer because I believe in the importance of protecting the rights of individuals. The criminal justice system plays a crucial role in society, and I want to be a part of assuring that everyone receives a fair trial, regardless of their background.
During my psychology studies, I have learned about mental health. How critical it is to approach others with compassion and without judgment, therefore that is why I support @jigsawdublincity.

My hobbies include playing the violin, l've been playing it for more than 10 years. It has taught me patience and discipline; I have learnt to connect with others on a deeper level. To me, it is more than just an instrument, it is a tool for personal growth. It has shown me that I can express myself through music and I hold that dearly to me.

Another one of my hobbies, is I love to go on adventures, whether it is going on walks, exploring new cities or going on a drive. I love getting out of my comfort zone and embracing the unknown. In my opinion, adventure is all about discovering new places, learning about myself and creating memories with my loved ones.
My mother is my biggest supporter, she is my constant source of love, support and guidance throughout my life. She has shaped the person I am today with her strength and wisdom, and I will forever be grateful for her.
Throughout this journey with Miss Universe Ireland, I hope to inspire young women, and I want to raise awareness to mental health and the importance of it.”

“My name is Victoria Trokhymchuk ,I'm 21 years old and live in a rural village called Drumshanbo in County Leitrim. In my spare time I like to volunteer with the Equestrian division of Special Olympics Ireland, ride horses and drive trucks.
Throughout my life I have been drawn to motivate, encourage and support people in times of need. Today's world is a tough environment for the up-and-coming woman especially, there's certain expectations from us and society doubts our ability to perform in male dominated areas such as in our work. From my experience being a young girl bullied through her school years and being made feel as if I wasn't enough, left a big dent on my self confidence that I'm only now recovering from. As a girl who never conformed to the norm of what a girl "should do “,

I flourish on emphasising the importance of being kind to the younger generation today and inspire them to go against the social norm. I strive to make a difference through my primary line of work which is working as a healthcare assistant where I help achieve the dreams of those less fortunate than myself. I help and inspire people with physical and intellectual disabilities as well as people of all ages and backgrounds, children in particular to achieve their goals and understand the importance that is kindness.

I believe open mindedness, mutual respect and understanding in today's day and age is the key to making the world a better place. If there's one thing you can be in this world, it is be kind .
