Gibraltar to be represented at Miss Universe for the first time in 34 years

Gibraltar will be represented at the Miss Universe Pageant this year for the first time in 34 years.

Local productions company, Number 1 models, who organised the Miss Gibraltar pageant earlier this year, has obtained the licence for the international pageant.

They will be sending a delegate to the pageant, as well as Miss World.

The Director of Number 1 Models joins us now - Kelvin Hewitt.

**Miss Universe Gibraltar Contestants Number Draw Event**

Gibraltar, [25/06/24] — The highly anticipated Miss Universe Gibraltar 2024 contestants’ number draw took place yesterday at the charming Queen’s Eatery. The event was a momentous occasion, marking Gibraltar’s return to the prestigious Miss Universe pageant after a long hiatus since 1990.

Nine remarkable contestants have stepped forward to represent Gibraltar in this year’s competition. The atmosphere at the Queen’s Eatery was filled with excitement and anticipation as family, friends, and supporters gathered to witness the draw and show their unwavering support for the participants.

The final show, where the new Miss Universe Gibraltar will be crowned, is scheduled for Saturday, 10th August, at the Alameda Open-Air Theatre. This promises to be an evening of elegance, talent, and celebration, showcasing the grace and intelligence of Gibraltar’s finest.
