My name is Raquel Pelissier. I'm from Haiti. I started modeling three years ago, when they asked me to pose for a local magazine "Rebelle Haiti". I did it and enjoyed every minute of my first experience; I was always interested in fashion and all that is related to the modeling world. I had learned a lot from the show " America's next top model " by Tyra Banks and I noticed that on the set .About two months after the magazine got out, I get call up this time to work on a promotion for a phone company Digicel.I had to do a tv ad and a photoshoot that they later posted on billboards. As they started to notice me more ,the contracts kept coming . So, until today , i have worked with all the good production companies around here and have done by now about six tv ads so far and lots of photoshoots either for billboards, magazines or personal portfolio. Unfortunately, due to the size issue i only uploaded only a few pictures, the ones that could fit so you can only see part of my work. Hopefully, i'll upload more. I also worked with Irish photographers that were doing a catalog to show the world a new image of my country. I volunteered since I was glad to be part of this project. Furthermore, I also do runway. I did about four local fashion shows. I thought of doing this profile now since I am leaving my country, i am moving in Madrid and I would like to work with bigger fashion industries. I got ambition and I believe ambition is enough to make you follow your dream.
