DESTRONADA la Miss Earth Water 2013 Punika

MANILA - Punika Kulsoontornrut of Thailand is no longer the reigning Miss Earth Water after she was dethroned by Philippines-based organizers of the pageant for violating her contract as a titleholder.

Carousel Productions, Inc. informed Kulsoontornrut of her dethronement last October 10 through a letter, a copy of which was furnished to ABS-CBN News by executive vice president Lorraine Schuck on Monday.

According to the letter, Kulsoontornrut joined another pageant, Miss International, despite knowing that this would be in violation of her standing contract as Miss Earth Water.

Venezuela's Alyz Henrich was named Miss Earth 2013 in the finals night held in Las Piñas in December last year. Austria's Katia Wagner was named Miss Air, while Korea's Catharina Choi placed as Miss Fire.

Carousel, in its letter to Kulsoontornrut, pointed out that winners of Miss Earth are not allowed to join other international pageants during their one-year reign, as stipulated in Section 5 of the Miss Earth Delegate Contract.

Kulsoontornrut, according to Carousel, was informed several times by its manager for international affairs, Astrid Schuck, that her participation in Miss Interntional 2014 would violate this provision.

Carousel said it also gave Kulsoontornrut ample time to withdraw from the Miss International pageant, which will hold its finals night on November 11 in Tokyo.

The organization told Kulsoontornrut: "It is clear you have not and have no intention to withdraw as evidenced by your being shown as one of Miss International's candidates in their website."

"In view of the above, Carousel is left with no alternative but to officially dethrone you as Miss Earth Water 2013 effective immediately."

If Kulsoontornrut pushes through with her Miss International stint next month, she will compete with the Philippines' Bianca Guidotti, in the hope of succeeding another Filipina, reigning Miss International Bea Rose Santiago.

Miss Earth 2014, meanwhile, will hold its finals night on November 29 at the UP Theater in Quezon City.

BUENO les resumo, básicamente la mujer fue destronada por ROMPIMIENTO DE CONTRATO, pues las Reinas coronadas del Miss Earth en sus respectivos renglones no pueden participar en ningún otro concurso y resulta que la PUNIKA de Thailandia representara a su país en el Miss Internacional de este año rompiendo así como dice en el articulo rompió el artículo 5 del reglamento...

 

Resulta que fue descubierta porque hasta su foto sale reflejada en el portal del Miss International como delegada... 

 

Bueno expulsada por templetera... ojala que gane en todo caso para que esto le valga la pena

y no pudo esperarse un año mas? , anyhow... dudo que le vaya tan bien en MI como le fue en ME, pero quien sabe? dos asiaticas han ganado consecutivamente, aun asi me parece muy arriezgado rechazar su titulo para ir a probar suerte a otro concurso.

Esta preciosa esa Thai. Y bueno ser destronada de esa corona que? Total no hacen absolutamente nada. Que siga su camino y que concurse, pienso que le puede ir bien, esta bonita.

Que ridiculos los de la Organizacion Miss Tierra y con que moral hablan si hace un año le querian vender la corona a Russia y los descubrieron con un video oculto, tramoyeros que son. Odio ese templete asi de Zorzi y Mayra hagan la tripleta no me gusta
