Mexico's Music Appeal

 

 

Mexico’s representative for Miss World 2013,Marilyn Chagoya, has recently become the spokesperson and the face of a prominent foundation in Mexico, and has begun her efforts by releasing a charity single!

 

 

Working with Fundación en Movimiento "lucha por La Paz escolar " No más Bullying, an anti-bullying foundation, Marilyn has teamed up with the latin music legend & personal friend Edgar Oceransky Hernandez Ruiz to record the single ‘Una Huella de Amor’.

Marilyn hopes that through her music she can not only help to combat bullying in her nation through the power of her music, but also to raise funds to supply important resources for the foundation to continue their community work too. You can get the single here from the iTunes store.

 

Marilyn has also been studying up about Indonesia ahead of this year’s Miss World Final. She visited the Indonesia pavilion at the 3rd edition of the ‘Fair of the Friendly Cultures of Mexico City’.

Marilyn spoke to Indonesia’s Ambassador as well as other members of Indonesian society, learning some of their customs and about their culture in preparation for September.

She took home a selection of cultural artifacts as well as words of wisdom from the ambassador and the individuals with Indonesian heritage present at the fair.

Marilyn will be representing Mexico this September at the Miss World 2013 Grand Finals to be held across Indonesia
