Having personally spoken to several of the contestants of Miss World 2009, I will share that every one of them thought that she by a long margin surpassed Perla Beltran in beauty. This is their opinion, not mine. Their consistent feedback was that Kaiane was absolutely stunning in person with a charisma and beauty that maybe pictures could not capture, whereas Perla needed a lot of makeup to look like she did.
