Sophia who runs Miss Universe WA states transgender entries will be allowed in 2013.

The finals for WA is tomorrow where the first group of Australia national finalist will be announced.

I met Sophia at Miss Universe Australia 2011 finals in Melbourne. Lovely woman & so proud of the Australians following suite.

"I don't think you can discriminate," Miss Universe WA talent co-ordinate Sophia Barbagallo said. "It's not a surgery free competition, so where do you draw the line?"
