It's finally happening! After two decades, the Miss Universe pageant will be held in the Philippines.

The announcement was made last July 28  by Tourism Secretary Wanda Teo.

 

Private sector will handle the expenses. 

Kazuo Okada and Henry Sy are among the sponsors.

 

President Duterte met with officials of the Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc. led by Chairman Kazuo Okada, Executive, Assistant to the Chairman Sumire Kamura and Chief Operating Officer Takahiro Usui at the Music Room in Malacañang Palace on July 18.

 It has been known as Manila Bay Resort—or generally Tiger Resort—is now Okada Manila, the third and, with a 44-hectare property, presumably the grandest integrated resort to open in Entertainment City in Parañaque.
 

Kazuo Okada, Japanese billionaire,  is the chairman of Universal Entertainment Corportation, which operates Tiger Resort Leisure and Entertainment Inc., the trade name of Okada Manila formerly known as Manila Bay Resorts
