La corona de Miss Puerto Rico Universe 2016 recayó en la representante de Añasco, Stephanie Soto de 21 años  quien había participado en ese mismo concurso hace dos años.

En la reñida competencia que se celebró en el Centro de Bellas Artes de San Juan que transmitió WAPA y WAPA América  quedaron como primera finalista Brenda Jiménez, Miss Aguadilla; a la que le siguieron Miss San Juan, Heylimar Rosario como segunda; tercera Miss Bayamón, Laihany Pontón; cuarta Miss Guayama, Yamillette Rivera y quinta Miss Dorado, Stephanie Román.

Entre los miembros de jurado se encontraban la actriz Alba Nydia Díaz, el actor Jorge Alberti, el pelotero boricua de Grandes Ligas Carlos Correa, Enrique “Quique” Cruz, director de noticias de WAPA, y las exreinas de belleza Monic Perez y Mariana Vicente.

Stephanie tendrá la ardua tarea de representar a su país en el venidero Miss Universe Foro Mybeautyqueens 2016

Sabrina Meyer has been chosen as Miss Brazil Universe My Beautyqueens 2016.  She will represent Brazil at Miss Universe Mybeautyqueens 2016 later this year.  The finals will be held on July, 2016 where the reigning Miss Universe, i.e. Miss Universe 2010 Carrie Prejean will be crowning her successor from 80+ hopefuls in a glittering event.  This will be the first edition of Miss Universe Mybeautyqueens under ownership of Mayreawesome/IMG.

KIEV, July 7 — 21-year old Yuliya Podolyanko was crowned Miss Ukraine Universe Mybeautyqueens 2016 during the annual event held in Kiev on July 7th.  The 1.78 m beauty hails from Kiev and will now represent her country during the Miss Universe Mybeautyqueens 2016 pageant expected to take place later this year

The 1st and 2nd runner-ups were Yulia Hershun (26, Dnepropetrovsk) and Yulia Zakharova (25, Kiev), respectively.

15 contestants took part in the competition now under the direction of Anna Filimonova, who took over the reins of the Miss Ukraine Universe competition from Oleksandra Ruffin (nee Nikolayenko), who sold her participation earlier this year.  The event made international headlines when its 15 competitors visited Chernobyl and the ghost town of Pripyat, to commemorate the 30 years of the nuclear tragedy.

A former Miss Ukraine and wife to entrepeneur Phil Ruffin, Oleksandra Nikolayenko had been at the front of the pageant for 10 years.  Last year she announced her retirement from beauty pageants.
