MISS MALASIA MUNDIAL 2016 - Final 27 Agosto

El 24 de marzo 'de 2016, en una conferencia de prensa que se celebró en el Hotel Corus en Kuala Lumpur, se anunciaron las 20 finalistas de Miss Malasia Mundial de 2016. Una asamblea general se llevó a cabo para anunciar el nombre de las concursantes. El final de Miss Malasia 2016 Mundial está programada para ser celebrada el 27 de agosto 'de 2016 en Corus Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malasia.

20 concursantes preseleccionados son - Janani Baskaran, Tan Hui Ling, Marissa Ong, Jessica Lim, Janice Tan, Shweta Sekhon, Loo Liu Yan, el Dr. Ranmeet Jassal, Tatiana Kumar, Francisca Luhong James, Ushaanthini, Amreet Sra, Chloe Wong, Adelina Chan, Joyce Khoo, Malathy, Paveetha, Sally Lee, Mary Jane Atkinson, Miffy Deyn. La afortunada ganadora de Miss Malasia Mundial de 2016, le será otorgada con la oportunidad de representar a Malasia en el concurso de Miss Mundo 2016, va a ganar el premio en metálico de 50.000 ringgit al final del desfile.

El 27 de mayo '2016 una ronda de talentos se organizará para las finalistas para mostrar su talento. Antes de la competencia de talento, estos 20 concursantes recibir entrenamiento y aprender diferentes habilidades, tales como: yoga, conferencias, pasarela y baile habilidades para prepararse para el concurso.

Miss Malasia Mundial de la final de 2016 desfile tendrá dos rondas preliminares más importantes, incluyendo, traje de baño y de la tarde del vestido de las competiciones. Después de estas dos rondas, se seleccionarán los últimos cinco concursantes para participar en la segunda parte del concurso, que será una ronda de prueba. Habrá 12 premios afiliados, entre ellos: Premio de popularidad, mejor los medios sociales de la reina, la señorita espejo sobre los premios subsidiarios.

1) Janani Baskaran

Age: 18 years old

Height: 165cm

State : Kuala Lumpur

Janani is a student at Sunway College, and a highly dedicated sportswoman having won many medals in Marathons, track, and field events.

She also has a strong involvement in charitable works. She is also an accomplished pianist, and has been involved in theatre since the age of 9 years old. She represented Malaysia in Hollywood, and was awarded ‘Best Face’ & ‘Best Commercial’. She believes a beauty queen is not only someone is beautiful on the outside, but is beautiful on the inside, too. She would like to be of some benefit to the world, and taking part in this pageant is part of that vision.

2) Tan Hui Ling

Age: 25 years old

Height: 164cm

State: Johor

Tan Hui Ling was a straight A’s student and Associated Board of The Royal School of Music Grade 8 Pianist. She went on to pursue her passion for design in the National University of Singapore (NUS) and graduated with Bachelor of Architecture. She is currently an architectural designer.

Her talent for designs become evident ever since she was young, she won a major competition for fashion design in her junior high school. She was also the Design Director of the Aerobics club during her university days.

Tan Hui ling has been a firm conviction to become a catalyst for change in this world, she believes that a kind gesture, no matter how insignificant to the person making it, could contribute to making a better place. She sincerely hopes that her knowledge for Architecture will be a valuable asset to the society; Designing and building homes for all economic stratum.

3) Marissa Ong

Age: 17 by July 2016

Height: 167cm

State : Melaka

Marissa is a young student, but also a very ambitious young lady.

Her cousins are already beauty queens, and Marissa would love join their ranks, and to prove that in spite of her age she, too, can make a valuable contribution to her nation by being an inspiration to others.

She believes that no matter what age one is, there is always scope for doing productive work in, and for, the community.

She is a passionate supporter of Beauty with a Purpose, and would love to show the world and her nation in particular, what that means in practical terms.

4) Jessica Lim

Age: 24 years old

Height: 167cm

State : Selangor

Jessica graduated in Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design, and now works as an Executive PA for her family business.

She believes winning the title will set a gain her great experience and exposure, while providing a good example for others to follow; helping to shape a positive future for new generations to come.

Talent: Jessica is a talented artist who excels in fine art.

5) Janice Tan

Age: 19 years old

Height: 170cm

State: Labuan

Janice is a hardworking student and freelance model. She recently won an International Pageant, proudly bringing home the Crown for Malaysia.

She truly believes and exemplifies the fact that having the right attitude makes her a Winner – anywhere and everywhere she goes.

She endorses making any changes necessary to live life better in every way.

6) Shweta Sekhon

Age: 19 years old

Height: 171cm

State : Kuala Lumpur

Shweta is a busy and popular student. Her greatest wish is to make her single mother as proud of her achievements as she is of her mother, the ultimate being to bring back the Miss Malaysia Crown. She is committed and dedicated in all she undertakes, not only fulfilling responsibilities reliably, but also inspiring everyone around her.

Shweta is the perfect Emcee & Host for school events, and Debating Societies.

7) Loo Liu Yan (Yuvin)

Age – 19 years old

Height: 170cm

State: Penang

Loo Liu Yan is a dedicated student currently studying for a Diploma in Accounting in Penang. She is also a Freelance Model

She already has some experience of beauty pageants, but is now aiming higher with the more elevated platform of Miss Malaysia World 2016. She welcomes this new experience knowing it will undoubtedly be life-changing, and enrich her life in the most memorable way.

8) Dr Ranmeet Jassal

Age: 24 years old

Height: 173cm

State : Kuala Lumpur

Ranmeet is a qualified 1st class Honours Medical Doctor who graduated from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, in India.
After a year of houseman training in India, she is now in Malaysia to start her medical practice as a house surgeon with the government.

Beauty and intelligence is a family affair: her sister is the current Miss Malaysia Universe; her mother – Mrs. Malaysia classic, and she would like to make her family proud by winning Miss Malaysia World 2016.

She aims to go further and be an ambassador for young girls to inspire and aspire them to believe in themselves and their dreams.

She is active in a charity project that helps the needy and create awareness on rare diseases which are not known to the public.

Talent : She is a creative person who has acquired henna skills from a very young age. Her other talents are dancing , playing the Dhol drum and harmonium.

9) Tatiana Kumar

Age: 18

Height: 176cm

State : Kuala Lumpur

Tatiana is the daughter of a French Mother; has studied French since childhood, and is now at a French International School, which enables her to connect more with her mother’s language and the richness of her cultural heritage. Her father, on the other hand, is a Malaysian Indian, so she has much to draw from and learn about this other cultural element of her identity. She is fortunate to have inherited her fashion model mother’s lithe body and stunning looks; and her great talent for dancing from her father.

In spite of her youth Tatiana is well travelled and, having experienced many other countries, she has a burning ambition to work for the United Nations, or any organization that benefits underprivileged children. This aim guides and directs her course in life, determining which studies would best support that end. She is also a sporty girl excelling in every test she sets herself; and achieved the highest level of tap dance, which she has enjoyed from the age of 6.

10) Francisca Luhong James

Age: 20 years old

Height: 178cm

State : Sarawak

Francisca is a student of Mass Communication & Media, majoring in Public Relations. As her family has a strong Christian Faith, she, too, shares the high morals she was brought up to understand, and values the important grounding Christianity has given her.

If she wins Miss Malaysia World 2016 she would put her energy and voice into speaking about human rights, and help improve education, especially for those most in need in rural areas of Sarawak.

Francisca also has a talent for dancing; and experience in both commercial & catwalk modelling.

11) Ushaanthini Puttharasan

Age : 23 years old

Height : 175cm

State : Penang

As a Medical Student, Ushaanthini, has learnt how to effectively multitask. With that in mind, if she wins Miss Malaysia World 2016 it will not only help to promote her as a Beauty Queen, but also support her practice as a medical doctor in her community.

Ushaanthini is a great an emcee and hostess for social events and weddings.

12) Amreet Sra

Age: 20 years old

Height: 174cm

State : Perak

Amreet is adventurous and ambitious. Not only has she won a National Title, but she has also represented Malaysia abroad. Active in games and sports, she completed a 5km run in 40 minutes; was 1st runner up in women’s indoor football, and successfully climbed Mount Bator – a live Volcano in Bali, Indonesia.

She enjoys camping, riding horses, reading books, swimming & dancing. She has the confidence to take Malaysia to a whole new level in international pageants. The catwalk and taking centre stage feel like home to her. She is more than ready to take on any challenge with a wholly positive attitude; and believes she has what it takes to bring Miss World crown back to Malaysia.

She also has a passion for dancing, singing & photographic modelling.

13) Chloe Wong

Age: 25 years old

Height : 171 cm

State: Sarawak

Chloe is a Political Science graduate who works for a public listed property development company. She is a bright and bubbly young lady who believes beauty serves a purpose; and that her own beauty is to promote a good message to the world of peace, care, love, while at the same time promoting Malaysia’s identity as a Queen of Nations to the world stage.
