Global Beauties Special Awards – 63rd Miss Universe Edition

GB’s BEST IN SWIMSUIT
Colombia, Paulina Vega Dieppa: Toned, healthy, energy, beauty, are some words to describe this beauty queen’s presentation in her Yamamay bikini.

GB’s BEST IN EVENING GOWN
Mexico, Josselyn Garciglia: This beauty surprised all by looking like a perfect “10” during the evening gown competition.

GB’s UNIVERSE DESIGN AWARD (Best Dress)
Singapore, Rathi Menon: An exquisite design which made her stand out completely from the rest.

GB’s MISS PHOTOGENIC
Brazil, Melissa Gurgel: She is not afraid of the cameras and has certainly showed it.

GB’s MISS ELEGANCE
Jamaica, Kaci Ferrell: Has looked poised, classy and regal since the start of the competition.

GB’s MISS PERSONALITY
South Africa, Ziphozakhe Zokufa: Excellent Interview, sweet disposition, professionalism and a contagious smile. Need we say more?

GB’s FACE OF THE UNIVERSE
Venezuela, Migbelis Castellanos: One of the most beautiful faces to grace the Miss Universe contest, she has been criticized for so many things but her facial beauty is simply undeniable.

GB’s BEST NATIONAL COSTUME
Tie: Argentina, Valentina Ferrer & Spain, Desire Cordero, with wonderful creations! It was very hard to decide on this one.

GB’s TOP MODEL OF THE UNIVERSE
Georgia, Ana Zubashvili: This girl has “model” written all over her! From her overall style, her clothes and personality, this girl is more than ready for magazine editorials, runways and commercial campaigns.

GB’s SEXIEST IN THE UNIVERSE (and finalist to Sexiest Woman Alive)
Slovak Republic, Silvia Prochadzkova: A ravishing and sexy beauty overlooked by many, perhaps because of her sash.  The Slovak Republic has not had a semi-finalist since 1994! She could definitely change that.

GB’s REVELATION AWARD (Best Perfomance in Preliminary Show)
Ukraine, Diana Harkusha: This stunning lady surprised more than one during her superb perfomance in the Presentation Show. Ukraine is also a country that has been trying to capture the title for years.

MISS GB UNIVERSE 2014/15

Colombia, Paulina Vega Dieppa

And the overall prize goes to… Colombia!  This South American nation has tried to hard to win the crown that has escaped so many times.  With only one winner (Luz Marina Zuluaga, 1958), Paulina decided she wanted to bring the title and she has certainly demonstrated to have the qualities.  Such a strong contestant that she has been the blank of rumors about her character trying to bring her down.  Her detractors say that “all is fair in love, war, and beauty pageants”.  She simply decided to fight back and go for her dream.
