Philippines fund soars to £400,000 

 

 

 Megan Young, 23, said she wept as she saw the news and pleaded: “Please give as much as you can”.

The beauty was in Britain when she heard of the devastating impact of Typhoon Haiyan which killed nearly 4,000 people, with hundreds missing.  

 

 

 Megan visited The Sun’s offices to help raise awareness of our Philippines Typhoon Appeal, saying: “Please help The Sun’s campaign — £1 can buy so much.”

Our total continues to soar as X Factor bosses confirmed that around £100,000 had already been collected from the profits of phone votes and track donations for our appeal.
