   Miss Universe Ireland 2018 is brought to you by Eleven Haircare. The event will be held at the stunning historical Round Room at the Mansion House on August 2nd, where Miss Unvierse 2017 Ireland Cailin Toibin will crown her successor. Portions of the evening will be donated to Cailin's chosen charity, Pieta House.
   The event will be hosted by Brittany Mason and TV personality James Patrice. The Red Carpet cocktail hour will begin at 6pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. There will be special performances from Meg LaGrande and international DJ, DJ GNO. DJ GNO whom has opened for top musical acts like Tiesto and DJ Khaled, has written an original song for the MUI called “Miss Emerald Isle”. 
   28 of Ireland's most extraordinary women will compete for a once in a lifetime opportunity to serve as a goodwill Ambassador of Ireland at Miss Universe 2018.
   The Miss Universe Organization is owned by IMG/WME, the global leaders in fashion and entertainment, and the competition has the most exposure of all international pageants. It is held in 190 countries and is seen by half a billion people annually. The competition has launched the careers of women not only in media entertainment, like Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, but also women who have gone on to lead successful careers in government, business, and finance. With this new era of Miss Universe Ireland, the brand is focused on developing each finalist individually to help her reach her full potential personally and professionally. The brand’s mission is to create opportunities for women in the work force, begin discussions of issues relevant to Ireland, community service, and brand partnerships
